Bright, beautiful acidity and soft minerality — 3 months ago
As close to perfect as possible. This 2016 vintage was dipped inn2024 with great pleasure. Beautiful fruits of cherry rounded by a nice tannin finish. The wine opened up and by the last sip the tannin complimented the cherry to a more oaky finish. Outstanding. On the occasion of welcoming Anna home! — 4 months ago

You know you’re drinking Meursault from the first sip with the chalky minerality and saline. The body is round, thick & waxy. Green apple w/ plenty of skin, lime zest, lemon, tropical melons, grapefruit & white stone fruits. Some honey notes, crumbled chalk, sea fossils, sea spray, limestone marl, mid white spice, honey notes, white field of spring flowers with greens, round, rainfall acidity and a round, lush, well balanced, elegant finish that lasts two-minutes falling on minerality, excellent white spice and soft used barrel notes.
Another point or two with cellaring. — 7 months ago
Chardonnay was crisp and had citrus favor of apples and pears. I usually don’t like Chardonnay as it’s too oaky for me, but this is un-Oaked. Went well with cheese and a roast chicken for an afternoon meal! I would buy again — 4 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2016 pours a deep ruby/purple with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe black and red fruits: cassis, blackberries, raspberries, red plum, tobacco, a touch of bell pepper, earth, old wood, and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. A classic expression of Bordeaux during a period where the lines between New and Old World have been blurred. This is tasty and showing well in its early drinking window. Drink now through 2036+. — 3 months ago
Have had the 2009 vintage twice, in 2024 at a tasting and in early 2025. The first was the best of the tasting, and the second was a fine compliment to spring leg of lamb. dark fruit and smooth tannins. $68 when purchased in 2024. — 3 months ago
