One of my favorites from the brand! — 6 years ago

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose blackberry and dark berry. On the palate dark berry and high tannins. Cassis. Age worthy. — 7 years ago
Lovely. A little almond and strawberry behind the toasty brioche. — 7 years ago
Our favorite! We get it by the case. Good with everything. Best if you let it breathe a bit first — 8 years ago

Regal vineyard. so far all this vineyard ever delivers is pure mineral with an infusion of flowers, a real complex and subtle depth to appreciate. The consistency and life of the wine is real. — 6 years ago
The 2010 Esprit de Beaucastel from Tablas Creek was a tough act to follow, but this elegant Rhône blend from Sonoma just did that.
The nose was quite similar with aroma of blue fruits and earthy elements with hint of violet, it was the palate that set it apart: soft, complex and deep, with great texture and beautiful acidity that adds the tension. Elegant and seamless.
Kale Anderson was the long time wine maker at Pahlmeyer, and Kale wines are all vineyard-specific. Worth seeking out. — 7 years ago
Refreshing Pinot with our adventure at Avery — 8 years ago
Bright tart red fruit with high acidity that gives the sensation of effervescence, pairs perfectly with braised short ribs — 8 years ago
Nice little pinot but man these 2014 Martinelli Pinots could all use about 4-5 years of bottle aging! 1 of 4 brought with us on a little weekend getaway, and was a great accoutrement. Nice acidity, great raspberry grit and had an herbal nose and finish. Really pleased, and even more pleased that the rest are in the lockup where they belong for a few years. — 9 years ago
I thought for sure I'd be the first to tag this bad boy. — 11 years ago
Purposely tried it without ice first. It was sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet, a good champagne. Once ice was added, it turned into a totally different champagne for me. It became less fruity and felt so refreshing. — 11 years ago
Boy I like this. — 14 years ago
It’s a slightly sweeter version of an already awesome proper French Champagne. Dial back a smudge on the brut and just tweak the dial on a natural sweetness and viola! Nectar imperial! If you were giving someone their very first glass of champagne, I’d recommend this one - the sweetness will win a lot of tongues! — 6 years ago
Bought as a standout at Tassie Pinot show. Has matured beautifully, fruit still at the forefront with lovely spice and earthy notes. — 6 years ago
