Very interesting. Dry as hell n acidic as... well, very acidic. But lots o oak up front, then mineral n then cherries n winegum n far east citrus. Very interesting n pretty tasty but requires food. Might shelf for a few more years. — 6 years ago
Mmhh... ottimo ma decisamente meno grip e complessità rispetto al 2004 o 2002. — 6 years ago

Great champs. Super balanced but not exaggerated. Very bread on the verge o cherry kernels. Dry n nice. — 8 years ago
Pretty darn tasty!!! Not too dry, fairly fruity? w O celebrating 3mo in Stockholm! — 8 years ago
Punches above its weight, price-wise. Full and creamy on the palate, toasty finish and strawberry and light citrus o the nose. — 5 years ago
The White Burgundy was excellent but, still have to have my BSR 375ml. It’s been awhile for us.
It is a little better tonight following the Burgundy & soft white cheese.
The nose on this bottle really flows out of the glass tonight. Beautiful lean fruits of; blackberries, black cherries, cherries, strawberries, watermelon near the rind, blood orange, orange & tangerine & some pomegranate. Crisp volcanic minerals, saline, sea fossils, baguette crust, vanillin, whiff of caramel, soft white spice, pink flowers and rose pedals.
Everything on the palate sings just a little louder tonight as well. Fruits are even a little richer than normal. Ripe & slightly gummy not as normal leaner fruits of; blackberries, black cherries, cherries, strawberries, watermelon near the rind, blood orange, orange & tangerine & some pomegranate. Crisp and grippy, volcanic minerals, beautiful softer, powdery chalkiness w/o quite the sharper edge it normally has, soft, hints of Provence herbs, saline, sea fossils, baguette crust, vanillin, whiff of caramel, soft white spice, pink flowers and rose pedals. The acidity is crisp, lively and dead on as alway. The long, rich, well balanced finish is deliciously refreshing and persists minutes.

Crisp, tight structure w/o being oppressive. Amazingly bright apple, mellow yeast and a hint of subtle peach or nectarine. Yum! — 7 years ago
Wonderful champs. The right, light notes o fallen leaves/age among bright minerality n a little citrus. — 8 years ago
1 of the 4 Champagne elements release series (fire, earth, air, and water). The L'air was such an awesome find (current and last release was "O", or water). It is lifted much like clouds ( beautiful sweet brioche toast notes, lemon zest, dried peaches, spiced honey, and and nutmeg. The pallet was creamy and full - full of baked golden apples, créme bruleé, toasted almond, and a bright lasting finish. I think this was an outstanding, and brilliant wine for under $90... yumm mmmm. Happy Valentine's Day! — 8 years ago
Very nice n very dry. Yet very balanced w/o any exaggerations. A little fruit like grapefruit n apple/pear but a lot o mineral n maybe bread. — 5 years ago
Always a favorite! Lots of super fine bubbles that carry caramelized pear and hazelnut o a smooth finish. Disgorged 6/14/2018. MS — 6 years ago
Wow. The complex first hit o both flowers n minerality. Grows bread n earth w still flowers w temp n time. A great champs, basically. — 7 years ago
Wow.. this Champagne is astonishingly beautiful. Amazing, with years ahead of it. Creme brulee, candied lemon, flint, white peonies, butterscotch candy, and sweet lees. The acid is round and lush, with a subtle lift of citrus brightness, with texture like the cream on top of a well made latte. Sauteed apples in butter, lemongrass, a very subtle hint of candied ginger spice notes, vanilla cream, and a finish that lasts for at least a minute. This champagne is delectable now, but MAN-O-MAN, in 5-10 more years it will be at the peak of its plateau. I might accidently finish the bottle myself.. hope my wife doesn't get mad at me, haha. — 8 years ago
