Aged southern Rhône plateauing I think. Garique nose. Red fruits on the palate, a bit stewed. I notice rosebottle, figs and wild strawberries. Medium acidity keeps it al in balance. Tertiary flavours all around: sunburnt dirt, leather, smoke, some tobacco, forest leaves. Medium long finish. Lovely wine. — 5 years ago

This was rich, deep with complex layers of fruit and spice that soars out of the glass. A “Wow Wine” & one of the best $50 range Burgundies that I have ever experienced. A producer I buy at all Cru levels that shows purity of fruit & transparency. — 6 years ago
