Aged southern Rhône plateauing I think. Garique nose. Red fruits on the palate, a bit stewed. I notice rosebottle, figs and wild strawberries. Medium acidity keeps it al in balance. Tertiary flavours all around: sunburnt dirt, leather, smoke, some tobacco, forest leaves. Medium long finish. Lovely wine. — 5 years ago
Another star in Rosenthal book but I’m a bit puzzled by the muted enthusiasm on Delectable. Sure, not the last word on complexity but what glory in classic chard & Macon notes. Rich & minerally mouthfeel, balanced. Yeah, for less than 15$ local. So what’s the problem? — 8 years ago

Smoky, meaty, and minty, good but needs lamb. — 3 years ago
Rich raspberry, blueberry, mineral, smoky, white pepper, and horse sweat notes. Picks up lavender note with more aeration. Tannic, but still balanced and well-integrated. A fantastic everyday drinking wine. — 3 years ago
