Light bodied without being a pushover. Bright fruit, almost a bit green like unripened strawberries with a constant bitter note throughout - like unsweetened cacao nibs — a year ago

Easy and delightful. 12% alcohol - exactly what you hope for if you want a French red for a casual dinner or some snacks — 5 years ago

Decanted separately two bottles for Christmas lunch
Took time to open and second showed benefit of longer time to open with notes of wood with earth, cassis, black cherry and a hint of earthy floor. Showed excellent performance and flavours that also possessed benefit of cellaring and results in tremendous length and finish.
Top notch and likely will develop further — 10 months ago

Beautiful NV champagne. Smoke, flint and pear on the nose. Flavors of black currant, pear, apple, ginger, honey, almond, lemon zest and brioche. Smoke and chalk on the finish. Nice balance, racy acidity and delicate mousse. — 7 years ago
Deep fruit pungent and a little mushroom. Full of tight Stone, earth and tobacco — 7 years ago
Medium lemon yellow. The nose is med+ and rises easily from the glass with fresh notes of mineral stones, lanolin, salinity, and mixed fresh orchard fruits. The palate is med/med+ bodied, with mouthwatering and perfectly integrated acidity. The flavors cascade over the palate with energy and depth into a long, persistent finish. — a year ago

Light and delish. Perfect with deer. — 7 years ago
Delicious. Two years after having the same vintage it’s just as tasty as I remember. Definitely a keeper and at £16.49 well worth the value — 7 years ago
