1970 Vintage amazing this wine is 49 year old and still good! From the bottom of the cellar, the cork was leaking a little so we opened it! Had it in June 2019 with friends who visit Chateau la Gardine every year — 4 years ago
Red fruit, meaty with plum and cherry notes, higher acidity and alcohol. Great — 5 months ago
2020 vintage. This estate produces good reds, but I have a penchant for the much rarer white. Rousanne (50%), Grenache Blanc (20%), Clairette (20%) and Bourboulenc (10%), planted on the calcareous soils in the west part of the estate. Intense perfume of pineapple and flowers with a distinctive minerality. Round mouthfeel with bright exotic fruit, spiciness and a long mineral finish. Very good indeed. Abv. 14%. — 7 months ago
Great pairing with steak. 2013 vintage — 6 years ago
George gave us samples at Privada. Both liked. He says it's pretty reasonably-priced, around $17 — 7 years ago
Nice grenache nose with blackberry notes along with garigue and tapenade touches. This is simple yet very inviting. The palate is very well made with a very strong acid backbone, a nice blackberry note all along, somehow a milky mouthfeel, a powerhouse of a midpalate with a good grip and a very long finish with fruit and that grip, along with a tiny bitter touch. This is simple but very well made. More of this!! — 2 years ago

NOSE: raisin, cherry, a little chili powder, date … but all very subdued. Plum.
TASTE: silky and delicious. Chocolate covered raisins, dark berries, some kind of baking spices … a little clove. Almost reminds me of Rioja. Delicious. 92. — 2 months ago
