Wow, this comes out swinging. Really big blackberry and cassis, with cedar and licorice. Dark and luxurious. The Cab Franc pokes through with some green. This goes down easy. Inexpensive, too.

Green Cap. Exudes class. Nose gets confectionary after a while. Crazy confectionery. So aromatic and complex. Palate is like an orb with no edges due the kisses of sugar. Close to pop and pour. Not juicy, but lots of red fruit — strawberry, raspberry, cherry (the pits). Also plum. Some leather. Minerals and clay. A little violet. Dried rose petals. Still has some grip — plum-skin-like. Acidity balances it all very nicely. Really good. 92. — 5 months ago
