My test bottle. Here too early but still very enjoyable now. @J Greene and @James K let your bottles sit for 5 years. — a day ago

Why do I even bring these bottles home? I just move them from your fridge to mine then pull them out years later and meet you at a nice restaurant. Aren’t you an IE, this feels very inefficient.

Haha I have to get you to pay for them somehow!

Same with me. When it works, it’s great. But glitches pretty frequently.

Château La Vieille Cure

Fronsac Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

Pop and pour (practically) — can’t be helped.

NOSE: something savory, blackberry, and a little violet. Mild clove. A little clay. Something…Mexican?

TASTE: juicy, purple cassis and clay. Fresh and tasty. The kind of wine I like, basically. Blueberry pie after air. 93.

Château Mazeris-Bellevue

Canon-Fronsac Red Bordeaux Blend 2012

Blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (15%), Cabernet Sauvignon (14%) and Malbec (1%). Medium ruby core that turns more garnet closer to the rim. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit with hints of tar and roasted coffee. Flavors of red cherry, raspberry, black currant, figs, and mocha. Just a touch of baking spices on the long finish. Satiny texture and very fine tannins. Medium bodied and very soft. Good example of where proper aging can benefit a wine. Solid. Thanks for sharing, Chris B. — 2 months ago

Basic label. Smells like cherry coke and wood oil. Flavors are complex and chewy. Cherry cola in flavors. Licorice too. Age-d. — 6 months ago
