Deep garnet with terracotta . Quite rich concentrated nose , slightly roasted spicy , oaky nose, cassis , dark plum , quite rich and dense. Slightly sweet on the palate , but with red plum , spiced orange rind , cassis , cacao . A bit alcoholic on the palate too. Quite rounded , but gritty tannins and just balanced acidity . Slightly Foursquare on the finish , with spiced cherry , cacao . Drink now and over the next 5 years or so . — 4 months ago
Light yellow in color with a golden hue.
Strong nose of yellow apples, light cedar, fresh apricots, light toasted nuts and spices.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs, light earth, honey, spices and white pepper.
Long finish with lemons and light herbs.
This young Chardonnay from Napa Valley is drinking beautifully right out of the bottle. Elegant, rich and tasty. Nicely balanced and fruit forward.
Juicy and entertaining, with light oak notes to compliment the fruits. Spicy and refreshing. Complex and engaging, and better when not too cold.
I had a few vintages of this wine, and it always delivers. This vintage seems to be much more approachable young. Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a beautiful day by the pool.
100% Chardonnay grapes were aged in (50% new) French Oak barrels for 10 months.
14% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Great nose. Complex from beginning to end. Fabulous! Enjoyed in the cave tasting room at Jarvis Estates. — 9 months ago
Great value — 3 years ago
A little muted on the nose, no noticeable vanilla or spicy notes from oak, lemon curd. Lovely crystalline texture and taste on the palate, just tasting fruit grown in the sun with a creamy foundation, well crafted in an obviously difficult year. #napavalley #chardonnay — 3 months ago
A Burgundian-styled Cab Sauv from the one of the most compelling Sub AVA of Napa mountains (Mayacamas) which has an amazing soil and solid influence from the Pacific. Crafted with an amazing balance of 68% Cab Sauv, 20% Merlot, 5% and the rest to round it off its structure and age ability. The 2011 is still climbing to its peak. Enticing notes of dry red fruits on the nose and mouth, delicate, outstandingly silky and nearly perfect balance!
The finish shows its beauty. (if you find it, it won’t disappoint you) it will give the run for the money. — 4 months ago
Excellent nose. Very balanced and smooth. Thoroughly enjoyed to top off the tasting experience in the cave tasting room at Jarvis Estates. — 9 months ago
Great nose and light on the front but complex through the finish. Very nice cabernet franc. — 9 months ago
One of my favorite Merlots. — a year ago
Really big Pinot noir. Fantastic. — 4 years ago
Brick in colour, fruit was still strong and it has been awhile but this wine gave me a very strong sense of place. Maybe it was nostalgia but I would have known it was Walla Walla blind folded. — 3 months ago
2014 vintage holding up extremely well. Smooth balanced from front to finish of red fruit and spice. — 5 months ago
I prefer reds over whites, but this chardonnay is very creamy and smooth. Well balanced and refreshing. — 9 months ago

Really explosive black flavors of cassis, berry and graphite. Maybe a tad fruit forward and less tannin than I expected and desire. Complimented with mountain rocks, leather and pine needle. But showing great at 9 years. — 3 months ago
