Maybe the best thing I could say is that if I liked big Cali chards, I would love this. Its beautifully made, I respect it. Its actually not huge, & restrained in so many ways. On nose-ripe starfruit & mango; On palate-Ripe mango, banana (?) blended with iodine & taffy. Medium acid, strong mid palate. Tried it cold & tried a tic above room temp. Prefer colder, as hides some of the tropical fruits, which aren’t my fave. To be fair, I think I would give higher score if this fit my flavor profile better. Its reasonably priced. Good with food-paired with a cavatelli dish with cooked squash & garlic. — 2 years ago
State of Brewing Scottish ale. Aldi advent beer.
Auburn, red-brown amber. Cream colored head echoes creamy wash of lacing that breaks to chicken bone divination and ant-farm spelunking, and finally to Keith Haring tic-tacs until cobwebs. Malty notes poke through earthy hole of coffee, mocha, and shaved dark chocolate with clove and nutmeg and black mushroom. Coffee emerges strong and all malt lies buried, but it is cold brew, medium body and flatter through creaminess. Lingering arabica.

I drink Mosel reisling when I want to share with my wife, but when I drink on my own or with homeboys( whenever that may be), I go Nahe. Lock n load minerality and a very dense mix of slate, salt, & peach. A tic above room temp & the rs comes through. Balanced. Skurnik importer. — 4 years ago
Love child of vintner Brianne Day & Bowler wines. Also notable that said live child sells for around 20$. Has a youthful, playful palate, very much alive in the mouth & on nose with all kinds of cranberry & red currant notes. Love seeing American wines step up like this, like a vin de soif but a tic more complex — a year ago
Gorgeous wine. Nose of light oak, grilled pears, apple skins, minerals and lime zest. Also lime flesh. Lifting minerality is something else. One of the more unique noses out there. The Tressallier makes this crazy. Palate is rich and perfectly framed with wood and maybe has a tic less acid than 18 or 17 but the richness of the texture and length more than make up for that. Air will smooth this out and let the minerality become more expressive. Beguilingly fresh and such lovely balance and compactness. — 2 years ago
