With its soft but a bit tacky tannins and vinous berry fruit, this 100% Perricone reminds me a bit of Abruzzi Montepulciano wines, though the fruit is not quite as dark. Nose has a little sweaty / earthy note too. Lots of straightforward character. Nice! — 3 months ago
Smooth, Rich, well-balanced and even nutty. Really great value. — 6 years ago
The nose on this is a bit richer than it’s downscale sibling, but boy is the palate dry!
Green fuzzy almond skin, white peach on the nose. Pears,
Sea water and mineral on the palate, lemon skin, extremely refreshing.
Curious to see it fill out as it warms. As it warms up, you do get some melon and fleshier dimensions.
One of the best blind deals of the year.

Cattaratto grape, 20 year old vines. Plush body, med+ acidity provides balance; wet stone, citrus and tropical aromas and flavor. Excellent. — a month ago
