Enjoying a heart warming dinner at our local haunt Sala da Pronzo. This opens immediately drinkable bright and spicy with vanilla. Mellowed out a bit, still a spicy warmth and enjoyable. — 10 months ago

Very drinkable, lighter red, dry, pairs nicely with food. We had buttered halibut. Would definitely buy again for the price. — 4 years ago
Had the 2020. A little sweet, but decent flavor. — 2 months ago
Dark ruby color. Scent and taste of blackberry and baking spices. Well-structured, mild tannins. Absolutely lovely for the price. Found it at Trader Joe's. — 3 months ago
What a great medium bodied wine. Super balance and highly drinkable. Reminded me of a great Cru Beaujolais. — 3 years ago

Actually a blend of Cab Sauv, Castelão, Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet. This wine is a very dark purple, almost inky. The nose is also dark, showing blackberry notes alongside savory tobacco, spice and earth, all in a very smokey framework. The palate of this interesting blend is nearly stunning. Tannins have a good grip, but the blue fruit flavors are amazing and the acidity leaves the sipper salivating. It seems bizarre to me that this wine cost less than $10. It drinks like it should cost much more.
