Delicious Barolo. Haven’t had this producer before. Quite classic with an edge of modernity in the seamlessness of the finish. Great dark fruit, bit of earth and leather, excellent acid, tannins are obviously there but not overwhelming (especially with steak). Quite delicious. — 14 days ago

Bright, effervescent red. Starts off kind of tasting like wet socks and then smooths and rounds out to dried apricot, green apple, and cinnamon, with a tart finish. Definitely something to worth chillingl! — a month ago

A Sangiovese driven wine with a delightful vivid ruby red with notable violet hues. On the nose is highly persistent in the fruity and spicy notes.
The one is already in its prime time, well-balanced between acidity, and approachable tannins. Tends to be a bit fruitier with some red berry compote with a juicy mouthfeel and moderate finish, which makes it savory as the spices shows on back-end of the palate as well. Cheers! — 2 months ago

I have always been a fan of the wines from this domain. Now at age 15/16 this wine stands firm! Everything comes together with a nose of red fruit, licorice, leathersoap. The mouthfeeling is silky, cherries you know these big black ones, subtle acidity making you want to drink more but no need as the finish takes you over the minute. Fantastic wine! — 20 days ago

Had the 2016 on Derby Day 2025. Dark, rich fruits. Some chocolate with a hint of leather. Vanilla and caramel from the barrel. Very interesting wine. The artwork on the front label is absolutely fascinating. Had to do the back of the bottle to get it in this app. — 11 days ago
