Wonderful and easy to drink — 2 years ago
Silky smooth and drinking beautifully after 14 years. Still quite a bit of life left if anyone has bottles lying around. — 9 days ago
This is mountain cuvée Rhinefarm vineyard Sonoma Valley. 69% Merlot, 27% Cabernet, 4% Franc. Long ago in a far away land I was a club member at GunBun. I really enjoyed the wines made there by Linda Trotta. This is my last bottle. Back in the day when they were allowed to call it Mountain Cuvée. 2001 was a cool tannic year and this represents the vintage, but it’s one of the reasons that’s it’s holding up this long. You’d never guess 2001. Dark red color, fruit and tannins with a smooth finish. This is old school in a very good way. — 2 years ago
Goes really well with steak. — 6 months ago
Oakier than I tend to like my Chard — 8 months ago
Paired with smoked baby back ribs with a Cheerwine barbecue sauce it was perfect. — 2 years ago
This 2019 is a bit of an untamed stallion, big flavors , a little wild, off balance but bold and impressive. A pint of wild Maine blueberries sitting on vine stems in the forest. Probably could use a few more years, but very interesting now. — 3 years ago

Wanted something to go with carnitas tonight. Not sure if this will pair well, but it is very tasty. I stole a premature sip while the meat cooks. Lots and lots of berries, tart, blue and red. I smell Syrah. Bright acidity, medium tannins. Terroir, stone. It feels a little Old World.
