Beauty expressed as wine. Chocolate, boysenberry, coffee, and hints of eucalyptus on nose. Dark blueberry and cocoa on the opening of the first sip. Tobacco and leather notes. Soft finish. — 5 years ago
Too early for prime drinking but couldn’t resist with steak and garlic shallot potatoes. Cab definitely the prominent varietal here with moderate to strong tannins and taut cherry and boysenberry fruits with an already developing balsamic edge. — 8 years ago
Lightning struck eucalyptus bark - what a nose!
Licorice, mint, basil. Tar, tobacco, burnt barrel. This is a wine that will always calm my pre race jitters. The vintage was amazing.
Salted boysenberry popsicle sticks end this wine with a long, long lasting finish. — 8 years ago
2015. Nose: leather, black cherry. Taste: delicious, light, slightly funky, earthy, almost effervescent with a little boysenberry jam. — 8 years ago
This had me smiling from ear to ear and was, to me, as perfect as a wine could be. Everything was in harmony and such a great middle road between old and new world. This wine is so distinct I think I could pick it out blind. Dark fruit just dominates the nose - blueberry jam and boysenberry. The palate is smooth and lush. While the nose has jam, the palate is not extracted or sweet. It just is a perfect orchestra in a glass. I know that sounds corny but it's true. This wine is so beautiful and has a long life ahead of it. I've been fortunate to have many "100 pointers" and some have been great, but this is my first perfect 10 for me on Delectable. My better half argues 9.8 but I'm the one on this app so my call!! And, PS, it paired perfectly with Diana Ross live - this wine is "The Boss." — 9 years ago
Aged in 40% new French oak. Pale to medium ruby-purple, the nose offers dark berry fruits, smoky cedar notes and spicy touches of forest floor. On the palate flavors of boysenberry, blackberry, and crushed red cherries with notes of cedar and spice, lively acidity, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy notes. — 5 years ago
Amazing pairing! Chicago style pizza and Saratoga Syrah. Deep purple color. Aromas of smoked meat, boysenberry and blackberry. Haunting blackberry, boysenberry, huckleberry and limestone finish.
5% Viognier to this big boy.

Chalk, boysenberry, acid, not big on natural this way too yeasty — 8 years ago
Boysenberry, little currants; crunchy. Fresh and full of life. Exactly what to expect from $20 Oregon Pinot. Much better in ‘16 than in blazing hot years like ‘14 or ‘15. #oregon #willamette #pinotnoir — 8 years ago
Last wine for our wine pairing at Chef's Table this evening, paired with a prime beef tenderloin with morel mushrooms and a smoked garlic-potato puree.
Deep purplish ruby red. Layered nose with boysenberry jam, tons of spices, cinnamon and violets. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Lacks a little oomph in the mid palate. Notes of blackberries, blackberries, vanilla and caramel. Long finish. Drink till 2026. — 9 years ago
Absolutely beautiful. 26 years old and still young. Tannins perfectly resolved, beautiful dark cherry and boysenberry, graphite and chalk. Long finish. This is why cellars exist. Great QPR. — 5 years ago
A lovely Cab with mild tannins, an easy sip filled with a nice blend of plums, currents, boysenberry, peppers, and a slight earthy feel. A very strong wine for the price. — 8 years ago
2009. Boysenberry. Raspberry. Some smoke. — 8 years ago
The nose is floral with loads of brambly fruits. Still has string tannins although they have mellowed somewhat. This one could easily cellar for another couple of decades. The palate is loaded with cassis and black currants, blackberry and boysenberry. Quite dynamic. — 8 years ago
