An extra year in bottle since I've tasted this last has upped my score on this. Classic Moon Mountain flavors; luscious blackberry, boysenberry, and cinnamon. Light bodied, but deeply extracted and flavorful. There is a sense of place present; rich mountain soil and fresh bay leaves. Finishes with some crushed pink peppercorn.

Deep, dark and classic. The age of the vines shows through here, creating a wine that is layered and complex. Dark berries, briars, fresh leather, and capsicum on the nose. Flavors of dusty earth, blackberry, Bing cherry, boysenberry, green pepper, smoke, cinnamon, and spice box come in waves. Medium bodied with fine tannins, this is more finesse than muscle. Drink over the next 3-5 years.
