Started complex and booming with minerality and energy. Second and third day pure meursault unmistakeable salted light butterscotch. Excellent, not a flaw in sight 👌🏼 — 7 years ago
Great value for this booming Chenin. Slight oxidation with waxy fruit, quince, pear, honey. Funky fresh. Long finish. — 8 years ago
Started with very subtle fruit and tight tannins surprisingly. After 30 minutes in the decanter the fruit was booming, the tanins settled and it was drinking perfect. Having with a dry aged porterhouse. Yes, burgundy with steak, it’s a thing. — 8 years ago
my 2000th wine on delectable. I am infinitely lucky. 10 years as a wine director - now my retirement looms. My new life rises like a slow, booming ball of heat and light. I'm excited and nervous. Scared and thankful. I've shared so many incredible glasses of wine with people and places that have painted my memories with beautiful colors. I've learned from you all. Now time to learn something else. Cheers! - I'll still be drinking, but only for fun now, back to the land of wine for wine's sake. — 9 years ago

Couldn't wait to get my hands on this--I wasn't disappointed. Very light pink color with abv listed as 12.5. Booming aroma of ripe green melon, ripe red apple peal and watermelon rind. Smooth bright finish turning to tart rhubarb/pie cherry on the long, smooth finish. Second best still rose I can recall tasting. — 9 years ago
One of the best from Modern Times. Mellow Motueka hops from New Zealand keep this IPA tame and easy drinking. — 10 years ago
Cloudy in the glass, shy nose, but explodes on the palate. Rich, amazing weight and complexity. Light in alcohol, but heavy flavors of ripe pear, apple, melon, fig. Nice fruit/acid balance but the wine is shocking in its power. I need to buy more of this Pinot Bianco/Greco do Tufo blend. Lots more appeal than Sauv Blanc or Chard. Long, booming finish! — 6 years ago
One of my favourite wines! Two thirds of the grapes were picked early and put through carbonic maceration, leaving the rest to dry on the vines for a bit. Then it was aged in some new and old French oak barrels for a bit, and then it was bottled and sold. The nose is luscious and fruity, with a combination of dark and red fruit. Traces of herbs, such at nettle and mint add some beautiful green tones, while in the depths of the wine is the deep, booming bass of barbecuing meat. This wine has everything. Moderate acidity for length, which also balances the high alcohol. The oak really shines on the palate. Fuck yes. — 8 years ago
This to me is a near perfect IPA, Citra, Motueka, Centennial hops, two row catapults, crystal 10 Wheat, dank, tropical, 75 IBU's very drinkable, west coast at its finest — 10 years ago
😇 I looked up to the sky & the Purple Angel came down upon me filling my glass with light blocking purple ruby rain that oozed aromas of black & blue berries w/ thick chocolate, vanilla, dates, heavenly minerals & smokey oak - “drink this godly juice” she said in a booming voice🍷
I dared embrace the heavenly nectar & succumbed to a full on palate explosion of ripe dark concentrated blackcurrant/berry bathed in raspberry cocoa and minerals💥
My mouth was left open in awe as my purple stained teeth yielded to the long silky fruit loaded intense finish & I myself turned into a naughty purple devil - spank me angel, spank me 😈
🎵 “And through it all she offers me protection l, A lot of love and affection” you’re gonna be singing this all day now 🤣 “And down the waterfall wherever it may take me .. “

Danger Will Rogers. My robotic arms are flailing. Beware this wine. It will seduce thy. I am eating short rib. It is coming off the block with the slight tug of a fork. Never had this but Voge CdR is booming. — 9 years ago
