Located in rural Carlton, Oregon, Ken Wright Cellars showcases the inherent quality of selected vineyard sites. The Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of Ken Wright Cellars' traditional vineyards. Though not at the same level of complexity as the vineyard designates, this blend is extremely enjoyable. Ruby with red berry fruit and spice. On the palate thus fruit forward blend, from 9 blocks of Ken's best vineyards, is lush and full of Pinot fruit, raspberry and cherry and complex spice. Mild soft tannins, well balanced with a medium finish. It is a great value. — 10 years ago
Great wine! At Carly's house for Pizza night with Jenna, Haley, Heather, Molly, Amber, Caitlan, Carly and Trevor! — 10 years ago
I decanted this wine for at least an hour before I drank it. It opened up nicely, had a beautiful nose - smelled fruity/jammy. It had everything you would expect from a good Malbec - A very smooth and silky sweet flavor, compounded by an incredibly smooth finish. I'm pretty biased though...I love Malbecs. For the price this is an exceptionally good wine. Paired it with prime rib - outstanding meal. — 10 years ago
Just a hint of oak and a pleasant acidity. Smooth. Paired well with a smoked fish appetizer. — 11 years ago

So, first wine rating since being hospitalized... This has been a favorite for a while. It is a little long in the tooth now, but still a nice aroma of blueberry compote. Still delicious, just a bit different. — 11 years ago
