Pinot night. More fruit forward than other B-C i've had. Expansive on the mid palate, a little short on the finish but overall very nice. — 8 years ago

Cuvée Spéciale Chigny-les-Roses 1er Cru Brut Rosé Champagne

Delicious bottle of rosé Champagne. Nice depth from extended time on lees. Hard to take it seriously b/c of its ridiculous Waterford-like bottle, but don't pass this up if given the opportunity. — 10 years ago

Château Cambon

Beaujolais Gamay

Yer ma drinks this (obvi b/c yer ma values deeply wines of unspeakable balance, the poise of a promise in the year of election, & weatherbeaten/Aragorn-rugged claims to the throne.

Hint of the lambic, touch of the forest. Fit for kings, wicked & brave alike.)

Really nice welcoming aromas of cola, nutmeg and spice box. Palette is soft, yet rich. Cola is dominant, with a hint of lychee, finishing sweet. Tannins are almost completely resolved. Drink the 07's now. B-C is a strong pinot producer. — 9 years ago

Domaine de la Côte Sainte-Epine

Vieilles Vignes St. Joseph Syrah 2012

Corked! Why do I love? B/c second bottle was racy and lean with spicy fruit on the nose, cherries on the palate and a long finish. Furthermore, buying wines from stand up guys like @Lyle Fass who credit corked bottles is a refreshing change. Thanks for doing right and keep bringing out gems like this! — 9 years ago

I've got no kids and no husband this evening. Everyone had plans but me. No need to worry b/c I decided to open this. Needed a little time to open up but after an hour or so it showed its true colors. Loads of dark fruit on the nose but delicate on the palette. Great even for a 2011. Enjoying every glass! 😊👍🍷 — 9 years ago

Alain Thienot

Cuvée Stanislas Blanc De Blancs Champagne 2005

100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards in the Cotes des Blancs. This Blanc de Blancs has a lot of weight and lush fruit but there is always a nice acidic edge with Thienot even though they usually allow MLF (exception blocked MLF with 2002 "La Vigne Aux Gamins" b/c 65 year old vines & not enough acidity). And there is always a fresh, clean profile with their wines. Incredible precision & focus while offering lots of stone fruit. — 10 years ago
