Still delicious. Leather-tinged red fruit with a soulful, lingering finish.

Steve, I am a bit upset. Your wines are all so stunning and I can't help but fall for each and every one. Problem is I want more and I have a hard time selling them because I keep drinking them! I will try and track this gem down again. Good acid lifts the deep wild fruit character. Great balance, structure and complexity. Thank you @Steve Matthiasson for your stunning wines.

Best Merlot made in Napa? Lean, mean, mineral, herbal and smooth plummy yumminess.

Stunning. Smoky herbs and cedar give way to cherry, fennel seed and a hint of leather and green herbs.

2010. Great acidity and precision. Can this really be Napa Merlot?

Raspberry, tart cherry, bright red currants and blood orange, lots of fresh flowers and a touch of savory tobacco. The palate adds minerality with crushed rocks, firm but fine tannins that are dusty and a little drying at this stage (though I did not notice this with the meal). Nice verve and energy from the high toned acidity.
