Good Catholic Girl Hail Mary Full Of Grace Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Great cabernet
Label to rethink IMO
Blue distinctive fruit
Coriander, milky choc
Gunpowder and graphite

It finishes looong!
Exceptional!

Syrah 2005

9.2

The last vintage that Armagh made wine from their own fruit. Looks like Pax Mahle gets this syrah now for his Wind Gap label. I'd love to see what he does with this. Deep, dark, savory, funky and fruity. Remarkable stuff and aging very well. — 9 years ago

Beautiful, floral wine. Blueberry, thyme. Needs age- but is bright and enjoyable now! — 3 years ago

The Armagh Clare Valley Shiraz 2012

This is close to perfection
Fairly big body not huge, but driven by an agility, suppleness, drinkability tremendously out of the ordinary
I have had other vintages and I must admit 2012 is arguably the best or close second to the 98.
Statement :I love Clare Valley shiraz, it is surely the most Rhone like 100% shiraz, for the big bold body u need to add malbec or mataro. Almost flawless
Silky tannin and long

Armagh Vineyard Syrah 2013

When a Cali Syrah clocks in at 12.9%, I get a little nervous that I’m about to drink a statement and not a wine. My nervousness was unfounded. Nose is bright, with sniff-able acids, but lots of other stuff too: green olive, tiny red berries, crushed rock powder, dry-cured salami. Soft and flavorful, the interplay of low-toned savory flavors and zingy acids does a treble/bass thing on the palate. Finish is pretty long. Nice wine! — 5 years ago

“Drink a statement” - love that. But yes Syrah on the coast can get ripe in a beautiful way at that alc.

Stellar. Seems to show more Viognier than the 1% that comes in from Nellesen vineyard, combined with fruit from Majik and Armagh. Truly outstanding Syrah. — 9 years ago
