Dry, green apple, orange zest citrus, and light floral notes. Great after new years but I personally like Veuve more so — 4 months ago
In 1829, Champagne Bollinger introduced an instantly recognizable, dry, toasty style that has been coveted ever since. Six generations of the Bollinger family have maintained that trademark style, and still owned and managed by the same family since it was founded. Gold color with a nose of fruit and baking spices. On the palate apple and peach, toasty notes with great bubble flow. Long crisp finish ending with yeasty mineral tones. Nice! — 5 months ago
Very balanced. Apple, citrus, pear — 6 months ago
Dry, pear apple with cranberry tones. — 7 months ago
It’s Miller time. Well…actually Billecart time. I like this more than I buy it. One of good cuvées easily found in 375ml.
The body creamy, layered, nice c02, bruised golden & green apple, ripe Bosc pear, pineapple flesh, tropical melons-mango driven, lime & lemon zest, cream soda, cream, white spice-ginger, bread, yeast, brioche, soft but grainy moist chalkiness, sea spray/fossils, slightly chard sourdough toast, wet/softened alluvial, limestone, wet river stone, notes of flintiness, yellow lilies, white orchids, fruit blossoms, jasmine, rainfall acidity, excellent balanced fruit & earth, tension, structure with a juicy two-minute polished finish that falls onto beautiful minerality.
BTW, home grown tomatoes with Companion Bakery wheat sourdough, lightly toasted w/ olive oil, burrata, Tondo balsamic (stunning), olive oil & fresh basil never gets old. — 2 years ago
Very grassy. Key lime pie, green apple, and a load of primary yeast flavor. This is beautifully balanced and I think it will benefit from some time in bottle. Disgorged 2019 — 5 years ago
Decanted in the glass for 30 minutes, with bottle open during that time and later. The best wine experience so far. I tried it before on a tasting and was not impressed. Brioche, toast, citrus, apple and racing acidity were still present in my mouth after 2 minutes of taking a sip. I prefer to drink it the way I described at the beginning vs straight from the bottle that was standing in ice. — 4 months ago
Happy New Year! I loved sharing this bottle several NYE with my dear friend G. Granny Smith Apple with limestone and tight bubbles! Becoming an annual tradition as of late. — 4 months ago
Wow. Depth with dried apple. — 9 months ago
Good price at warehouse so I snagged one for wiener schnitzel dinner w/ cateloupe, prosciutto, radicchio &fig salad. Opened to give it a lot of air. Cream soda dum dum, Fuji apple, hint of gasoline but not a lot. Goes onto a grapefruit/citrus thing and a nice cream soda finish. Mineral and wonderfully acidic. Need to find older bottles! — 4 years ago
Happy bday to my wonderful wife! This was excellent. Lime and green apple, so fresh and bright, brioche with a tiny bit of pepper. Great bubbles and texture. Love the paper case. — 4 months ago
Excellent, toasty notes, some green apple, balanced acidity... Lots of life left — 4 months ago
2023 Le Mont Sec is so full of golden Chenin character despite its pearly glint.
Close your eyes and its thick pierced red apple skin, browning cores and buckwheat honey with a strong floral character.
My favorite dynamic of sweet suggestions, dry deliverable. — 4 months ago
Cheers to top quality bubbles from the Anderson Valley of the North Coast of California!
This wine is made with a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes.
It’s beautifully balanced with layers of autolytic characteristics like toasted almond, pie crust, brioche, biscuit, marzipan, nougat, thanks to 5 YEARS on the lees…
It has a creamy mouthfeel maintaining freshness with notes of white peach, apple, raspberry, lemon zest, white blossom…
Mousse is fine and persistent. — 6 months ago
Super fun, green apple, light and bubbly — 7 months ago
One of the best bottles of champagne I’ve ever had. Annual one for Valentine’s Day - 2 left from a case we bought years ago. Getting better each year. Has a bit of a caramel apple mixed with lemon curd thing developing now. Very fine bubbles. Just fantastic. — 2 years ago

Pale gold with fine bubbles. Blossom, apple, pear, tangerine, lemon, brioche, and toasted almond. Dry, medium body. Well-balanced acidity with a crisp, medium-plus finish. You can find this stuff almost anywhere these days. But I must say, I still like it.
