2021 vintage. Killer resto deal. 44% Merlot 27% Malbec 10% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Petit Verdot 9% Cabernet Franc. Medium body and super-refined. Pretty but still packing punch. Touted as Alexander Valley juice but labeled as Sonoma County. Regardless, this is banging. Sumptuous. — 2 years ago

What a wonderful wine from Jesse Katz at Aperture. Well balanced, long on the nose, smooth on the finish. — 8 years ago
A fine Sonoma Cabernet deep purple in color. Tannins are smooth after nearly 5 years. Classic balance. April 2026. — 2 months ago

On opening- very deep purple color, lush full bodied . Well balanced. Strong tannins but not overpowering. Some fruit but not a caymus fruit bomb. Excellent. Did not disappoint. Opened up nicely. — 3 years ago

Smells like blackberry and calendula (a sort of amber/herbal flavor) - or perhaps it is echinacea. Definite licorice. Tastes as it smells - licorice, herbs, dark berries, lovely mouthfeel. Some chocolate. This is really good. Not my favorite style, but a good example. Good deal! Reminds me a bit of the much higher rated, much more expensive (MUCH more expensive) Aperture cabernet. — 5 years ago
A surrogate from the Loire Valley, this varietal is typically bone dry, and in my opinion, impenetrable. Not this example...
Nose displays apricots on steroids, along with seashells. Palate presents honied almonds, flowers, minerality and very little acid. Moderately sweet, but finishes dry. A nice departure. Drink these now. — 6 years ago
This is a stunning Sav. Blanc. Probably the best I have ever had. I don’t normally think of creaminess with a Sav. Blanc, but it’s there on the nose. Still has nice pineapple and lemon curd on the nose. Palate has great, mouthwatering acidity and a lengthy finish for a Sav. Blanc. Compared blind with Modus Operandi Sav. Blanc, which is my go to, and this one beats it out. @Ron R If you can find this, I think you would dig it. Bought at a visit to the winery. This one is distinct. Not the regular Sav. Blanc, but the Farrow Ranch. Supposedly, the winemaker said it was the best white wine he’s ever made. — 2 years ago

Field blend.
I'm guessing Durif, Syrah, Merlot and some Cabernet.
This is really rather elegant for a field blend. Nice use of oak. — 4 years ago
