2019. Solid gold with pizza. — a year ago
Gorgeous bottle of ruby red shades and intense aromatics featuring vanilla, spices, rose petals, and nuts. Quite complex. Great medium+ body and strong acidic structure but with a refined weight and balance, it’s not overpowering but has a lot of character. Really good lingering finish. — 4 months ago
Costco value. Forest floor. Wild cherry, red berry. Excellent for the price. — 6 months ago
Excellent PQR! lighter red, great with pizza — a year ago
Andrea Franchetti’s flagship red, Passorosso is made with 100% Nerello Mascalese from various contrade (crus): Malpasso, Guardiola, Santo Spirito, Favazza and Arcuria, at different elevations and soils. Aged in large neutral oak barrels and bottled unfiltered. Bright, pure, red fruit on the nose. Quite powerful and ripe. Red fruit and hints of blood orange — 3 years ago
Had the 2016 in 2025 and holy crap this was good! Had it with a.cheese platter that included many robust flavors and a couple of blues, the wine was phenomenal! It even left my husband in a pucker. — 5 months ago
Excellent! Rounded, red fruits, beautiful — 6 months ago
Extremely aromatic on the baked blueberries, enticing aromas and taste of raisins. Rounded and well-balanced. Elevated acidity and texture. Smooth but spicy from entry to end. Opens beautifully after 30-45mins after cooking. — 9 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three days. Best on Day 1 and 2. The 2017 Inferno, Fiamme Antiche pours a deep garnet color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart fruit: Morello cherry, roses, espresso, leather, alpine herbs and granitic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Elegant and ever so lovely. Drink now through 2037.
