A blend of Straight Bourbon, Corn 🌽 Whiskey, Straight rye and a plush of 15 YO Olorosso Sherry. All the whiskies are at least 4 YO. Unique and flavorful. — 6 years ago
Rich, red fruit / black cherry nose. The nose carries through with some roundness on the mid-palette, but nice acidity all around. The finish is mild, if not somewhat numbing in an Asian spice way. Overall, this went well with grilled food, but i wouldn’t drink it without fatty or rich food. I’d prefer a proper Spanish Tempranillo, even if that’s an unfair comparison. — 7 years ago

Rioja meets California. Too young though, needs another 5 years. — 6 years ago
Sweet vanilla with 🌽 undertone. Tropical fruits and baking spices. — 7 years ago
Color of concentrated black tea, a bit copper tone. Nose of crayon, alcohol spice, fermented grains, and strength of alcohol. Taste is amazingly smooth, with chocolate, sweet baked apple, sherry , and mineral note, silky, and a bit gasoline note, I have no clue how you make a 100 proof this smooth. — 7 years ago
Warm fruit but not over Jammie, a little musty Overall another well balanced elegant wine from bedrock — 8 years ago
A good one worth savoring with every sip! — 5 years ago
It’s pretty easy to over-do Syrah in this location. Desire Lines does a phenomenal job of keeping dessert-like pleasure and seriousness of terroir in check. Lifted and fruited like a modern northern Rhône or Cru beaujolais with a little less seriousness to boot but also this is young and booming. Held straight for 5 days. Get the feeling that this will resolve very slowly over time to show more what earthy and cool characteristics it has in its hand. This wine feels extremely stable and a kaleidoscope of possibilities lay herein. — 6 years ago
