Very similar to the cooper and thief red blend but at a much lower costs. Hints of vanilla on the back end add for a pleasant aftertaste — 6 years ago
Roussette du Savoie (Altesse). Delightful. Pair w/fondue, Alpine Cheeses 🧀 and sausages, seafood. Has a nice waxy viscosity. — 7 years ago
It’s not overly sweet. Perfect balance of sweet with hint of fruity tang. Would surly buy again! #its5oclocksomewhere — 8 years ago

Dark fruits and well balanced tannins highlight this excellent wine. More in the medium to full body Pinot noir‘s which I prefer — 4 years ago

Foillard but make it alpine.
Fragrant, light and silky (cedar, rose hip, red and black currant, alpine berries). vintage after vintage, this wine always gets me. Paired with simple pasta and lentil salad. One site, one variety, one wine — no wine or place or label like it anywhere else in the world. — 3 years ago
One of the best I sell that has somewhat of a cult following. It’s one of those wines that seems so familiar but is made from an odd grape in an odd place. But man does it work. Nose is floral and lifted. Gorgeous tiny berry mountain alpine fruit. It’s intense. Deep and grapey initially but it’s got substance. Incredibly clear and vivid minerals. Just arresting and original aromas. Superb concentration and what an awesome velvety texture. Superb depth and freshness. Stunning clarity and purity. Velvety tannins. What a showing. Best bottle of Rutissons I’ve ever had. — 5 years ago
