2019 tasted March 2021. Ripe apricots, green nettles, and a hint of Jasmine on the nose. The mouth feel is clear and bright with a hint of honey on the front. Lot’s of bitter calcaire high notes on the mid to back palate, returning to a clean slightly sweet finish on the back. It Leaves my palate tingling and asking, “more please!” Very refreshing on a hot afternoon. — 5 years ago

This was some great Grenache! In fact, this, to me, is just how a single-varietal bottling of this grape should taste. In spite of the moderate bottle age, there was a lot of freshness in it, and some great red fruit flavors as well. Very well done! 100% Grenache. 5/12/25. — a year ago
This is a stunning white showing surprisingly rich evolution: lemon and candied lemon, acacia, honeysuckle, wet stone, sage, green apple, dried apple, white peach, lime, lime zest, fennel and anise. It’s held up very well for six years, with vibrant acidity and rich, creamy texture. Very long finish — 3 years ago
Bright green-gold in the glass…lemon, pineapple, yuzu notes with a hint of green grass with lively acidity. Serious weight, nicely dry, touch of bitter grip on the finish. Tablas whites make wonderful dinner companions. Very nice foil for good Greek takeout of pasticcio, simple chicken kebabs, and skordelia. Opah! — 4 years ago
Having the 17 at Daou Mountain. Delicious! Grippy tannins from the Petit Verdot. Beautiful layers of fruit from the Syrah and cab with a long finish. — 6 years ago

I tasted the 2024 Vermentino with my flight at Tablas Creek and bought a bottle to take home. Lovely fruity wine, very drinkable. I generally don’t like whites with strong minerality but found this one to be very palatable! — a year ago
Estate cabernet. Lavish blackberry fruit flavors expand with notes of mocha, baking spice, cigar box and pine. Rounded tannins and mouthwatering acidity converge on a beautifully textured finish. 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc — 2 years ago

Read the hype, bought the bargain, drank it alone like a responsible adult. Too bad the 2021 is too young and tight-wound at first, but on day three it exhaled and pulled me completely inward. Magnetic. I am sold. Deep and complex, there are too many layers to name, but i immensely enjoy the fruit’s push against the savory pull. Quietly persuasive rather than flashy. — 4 months ago
