Pale golden glow with a nose of candied citrus, green apple and slight tinge of petrol. Lime, green ape and grapefruit dominate a refreshingly crisp taste. Served cold with spicy chicken wings was a match made in heaven! Excellent QPR. — 6 years ago

A big wine with full fruit aromas adding the right touch of cedar spice. Palate has black and red berry flavors, adding cacao and sweet cinnamon, soft with a citrus kick. Oh man is this great. What a nose. Stunning. Honeyed, caramel, but so much mineral. Decadent. Lordy. Palate is like icing on a cake and sweet with insane acidity. So much acid. Wow. Awesome texture and balance. Grippy fruit and so compact and linear. Ridiculously energetic. — 6 years ago

The nose showed intense minerality with crushed stone, lime, and sweet florals. On the palate, I found soft textures with peach, apple and hints of lemon, sweet inner florals and refreshing acidity. It finished clean with lasting ripe peach and hints of citrus rind. — 8 years ago

Beautiful gold color with classic petrol aromas of Riesling. In the mouth the fruit is rich and intense with great structure. Just the right amount of residual sugar to go with food such as chicken and Asian foods. Wonderful wine. — 6 years ago
2009v. Light gold color. On the nose: petrol, tart yellow apples, and a little lemon and tropical pineapple. That clean and juicy lemon comes through on the palette, too. Racy acidity, very dry, and a little salty on the finish. An intricate but delicate wine- best with simply prepared seafood or chicken, or with rich soft rind cheeses. Fresh, crisp, juicy & zippy. A bone-dry, mineral Kabinett. A joy!
Slate, hot stones, salt, a hint of white flowers and underripe peach. A touch of lemon peel.
On the palate this is filigrane, light, yet the juicy acidity gives this a huge energy kick. The finish last forever with a salty, spicy mineral edge to out.
