Wasn’t expecting to enjoy this so much. Nice depth of fruit and fine grained tannins. Plenty of dark fruit plush. Still had nice acidity/red fruits and balance to be quite enjoyable. Probably my favorite nine suns vintage.

Dark purplish ruby red and coats the glass. Plush nose with tons of spices, black fruits, dark spices, cinnamon and some vanilla. Rich palate with dark spices, black fruit and cassis. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2038.

I’ve been lucky enough to have enjoyed this wine a few times, but never as much as tonight. It’s showing incredibly well and after 30 or so minutes in the glass it was singing. The nose offers floral, black cherry, licorice. On the palate, which is silky and viscous, cassis, hints of coffee, chocolate and wet gravel. A touch of sweetness on the finish. Bad ass in a glass @Martin G Rivard

2012 vintage. Beautiful expression of western hillside fruit, with enormous depth and complexity. Young, vibrant and exciting. Bravo Jason
