Sherazade Sicilia Nero d'Avola

Actually super good! If this wine were a dancer it would be doing some pretty impressive things right now, from the robot to the fortnite dances.

Never had a bad bottle from Donnafugata.

Blackberry, raspberry, currant, plum, cherry and mossy earth. Good structure and moderate tannins.

Soft and dry with smoke, plum, cherry, and a hint of almond.

Not hugely complex but very easy drinking. Dark ripe fruit. No tannin.

Lovely but a little heavy in a heat wave 🥵

Loved this, had it in NY with Allen at Sofia Wine Bar.

Nose is full of red berries, green grass, barberry. Acidity is good, tannins are medium. Needs another year or two to become better

Barberry and allspice, red pepper in the nose. Coffee and chocolate in aftertaste.
Good alcohol, tannins are round, good acidity. No oak and body is not full. Drink now.

Needed some time to open up. Then, dark cherry, currant. Nice tannins
