Dont let yourself be misled by the bourgogne denomination. This is top notch stuff ! Complexity, tannic spine and length of a higher grade wine. Its really good now but certainly better in 3 years. Highly recommended !!

Feb 17th, 2021Drinking over 24 hour period - Fruit—>Flower day. Started tightly wound on the nose with deep mineral and smoke tension hidden. On the palette it’s got so much backbone matched with just the right intensity of red fruit deep mineral Long finish. 24 hours in its giving off faint hints of sage and sandalwood incense like I’ve seen in the Corbeaux and Gevrey. Finish is still ringing on and on. Always overdelivering. Not for everyone. This is for the slow contemplation...a depth of art so definitive of Bachelet throwaways.

Dec 3rd, 2017Snowpocalypse wine. If only it was better. Very austere, very little fruit - really didn't enjoy. :-( Disappointed by Bachelet. Was it the vintage or the bottle? (Yes, that's the snow level in the window behind the wine)
