Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with licorice and pepper spice. Rustic drying tannins, medium finish ending with earthy spice. A bit harsh.

It's a bit thin but well made. Great color, some sweet dark fruit on palate but not overly ripe. Distinct peppery note. Medium weight on palate, a bit tannic.

Fantastic left bank Bordeaux. Dark, super dry fruit. Minerally with this so district graphite/lead pencil under notes. Just returned from South Africa where we were blown away with the quality wines they are producing from their stunning vineyards. We were able to stuff 36 bottles on our suitcases. Yes Shiraz and Pinotage and Chenin blanc are their signature wines but places like Vergelegen, Villafonte and BoschenDal are making fantastic Bordeaux blends. We just had to check it against our references once we got home…

Had everything that characterizes the left bank of Bordeaux. Dark, leathery fruit, staying narrow on the palet but revealing layers as it travels from the front of the mouth towards finally settling in the back of your throat. Earthy undernotes characterized with hints of minerals and carbon. Saint Estephe is known for slightly dryer heavier tannins in their blends. Very present here but well rounded.

Opened and decanted on 10/3/21. Earthy, farmy nose. Bright and tart early on with sharp tannins, cherries and rhubarb. Nice wine but I won’t run back to get another

This showed very well last night. Tannins are there and provide structure but are not harsh. Dark cherry and plum fruit with a supporting floral/earth element. Very tasty.

Clear deep ruby color. Nose of red fruit, herbs, and soil. Notes of cocoa, rhubarb, cherry, and graphite. Smooth but tannic.
