Unfortunately it was oxidized. I thought #newworld #newzealand and #screwcap even if it’s 2011 it should be perfect...not the case. It was gone. Optimum Storage — 6 years ago

Kumeu River

Hunting Hill Chardonnay 2006

This is fantastic. Ten years old yet still tastes incredibly fresh, with apple and citrus aromas, smoky, with a slight nuttiness hinting at its maturity. Very good example of how New Zealand Chardonnay can age, and still plenty of life left #screwcap — 8 years ago

Big, rich, spicy. Everything you'd expect from Barossa. Well made and still showing a lot of primary elements. #screwcap #australianwine — 8 years ago

Great display on Ontario wine! Gamay tend to be a bit richer, a deeper ruby red. Aged in oak, medium dry, tart cherry with a nice finish on the palate. #canadianwine #screwcap #gamay — 8 years ago

Terra Andina

Bold Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Nice to be in Chile where the wines are cheap (vs Ecuador where the alcohol tax makes prices obscene). I chose this wine solely because it had the coolest looking label at the grocery store I went to, and paid $5 for it. Very woody nose upon opening the #screwcap (which I love compared to synthetic corks), but 30 mins of oxygen revealed a balanced and pleasant, if simple wine. Good fruit and tannin yet nothing overpowers, and has some length. Overall very impressed at this price point. — 8 years ago
