'89 vintage.
Meaty, bacon like nose, touches of toffee and blackberry jam. It's quite an obvious nose, lacking complexity in regard to the terroir of Cheval. 89 is one of my favorite vintages and I was expecting a bit more power, muscle, mouth coating and intensity.
