Château Beychevelle

Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 1989

Dollar for dollar a really lovely wine. Enjoyed along side a 1995 Lynch-Bages with an oeufs en Meurette dish. Just a great all-around wine, great color, lovely nose and great mouthfeel. Displayed the elegance of St Julien. Look out for 1989s down the stack from Saint Julien for sure. — a year ago

Château Lynch-Bages

Grand Cru Classé Pauillac Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

I have been buying more Bordeaux over the last few years but have resisted opening much of it too early. Still probably too young on this one but can’t wait forever. — a year ago

9/2023. Bold and full of fruit and flavor. Score another one for Spain. I enjoyed it with the Halibut at Hall’s Chophouse. — a year ago

Château Langoa Barton

Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

No decant and drinking already very good and beautiful. Superb balance from start to finish.
Pure dark fruits, some graphite, tobacco, cedar and earth. Maybe the oak needs some more time to integrate. For now a lovely wine, more please…👌🏼

Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese 2020

Lovely etna rosso for the price - light, beautiful color, but with enough tannin and depth. — a year ago

Domaine Vacheron

Sancerre Rosé Pinot Noir 2022

Minerals, bright crisp acidity up front, opened up very nicely after some time decanted. Smoothed out to much more wet slate. — a year ago
