Structured with tannins that resolve in the glass. Some plum and dark fruit are full on the palate. Nice finish. Lots of fruit in the nose. Probably more developed in a year or two. — 5 months ago
Deep Ruby red color with aromas of black fruits, cedar and baking spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with cola, floral and sweet cinnamon herb spice notes. Full-bodied, fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, toasty oak, herbs and a savory earthy mineral character. Nice! — 6 months ago

My last bottle so I decided to treat the group on New Years Day. Inky purple and a amazing nose right out of the bottle. Loads of red and black fruits with licorice, cedar and leather throughout. Complex finish and beautiful tannins. Once in a while bottle that delivers. Might have been up against its life span, but still a keeper. — 5 months ago
One of my favorite cabs. Wonderfully balanced complexity, silky mouth feel, a bit chewy with a delightful finish. Put it up for a couple of years if you can wait. — 5 months ago
Hall, Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon
This Mount Veeder Cabernet delivers impressive consistency, with ripe plum and blackberry flavors that open the wine and carry seamlessly through the mid-palate. The concentration and depth are excellent—a direct result of the small grapes produced in Mount Veeder’s challenging terrain.
What stands out is the wine’s wide structure balanced by soft, approachable tannins. It’s substantial without being heavy, offering both immediate pleasure and the framework to age gracefully.
Definitely a special occasion recommend! — 6 months ago
Visual tells you that this is a mature example. Nose presents olives peaches. Palate is all about macerated olives and briny notes. Nice delicate nutmeg and roasted nut notes combine with ripe white fruits and moderate sweetness. I love the Hudson vineyard so wanted to take a look at this. We got to this a little too late, but it’s still excellent. Its pedigree shines thru. — 9 months ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and nutty scents. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach, pineapple and lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with oak, vanilla, mineral and citrus notes, will continue to age. A beautiful Chardonnay. — a year ago
Mix of dark raspberry with hint of strawberry on the nose. Bit is sweetness and slight vanilla. — 2 years ago
Still a great vintage and could have many more years to go. — 5 months ago
This Couer had plenty of “Heart” as promised by Hall.

At one time, this area was know as a moonshiner site, subsequently planted by Charlie Chenoweth with Pinot Noir. Medium Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus, herb and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, ripe strawberry and cherry, espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins on a long finish ending with cedar, baking spices and earthy character. Very nice! — 10 months ago

Roasted pineapple, hazelnut, and a hint of citrus delivers a rebound of acidity within a rich palate. Creamy and broad with well integrated oak. — 4 months ago
