Crisp angular not that expressive. May need time — 8 years ago
Deep gold. Honeyed apple and snowblower on the nose. Rich mouthfeel of pears and peach, yet the finish was quite short. Still, ripe with elegant acid showcasing the vintage. Drink up. — 9 years ago

2011. Good fruit and tension. — 10 years ago
VDP auction bottling. Hard to describe this one as its weightless and in complete balance. There's no hard edges anywhere, but still one of the most hardcore wines that I've ever tasted. The acid level tips the scales and its tart citrusy profile does include some tropical fruits but this this wine is all about its acid drive and nervous minerality. Unique. — 10 years ago
Austrian Gewürztraminer from 2006, 13.5%. Excellent color, bright and intense. In the nose the botrytis is not too excessive, and there are pleasant notes of eglantine. In the mouth the right balance between sweetness and acidity. — 12 years ago

61/27/12 Grenache Syrah Mourvèdre. 595 cases produced. Purple red, medium extracted, very good clarity edging toward inky. Spice, barnyard and black currant notes in nose. Blackberry and plum flavors. An hour later, a cool menthol plum-cherry note (Mourvèdre) emerges. Slight skin bitterness, not much astringency. Black pepper finish, aftertaste. Might benefit from 1 to 2 years additional aging. — 6 years ago
