Second time for me tasting this wine and I'm still impressed by the complexity. So many layers of different aromas. Very impressive. On the palate its a totally differential approach than all the GGs I tasted before. Much rounder, softer with pure elegance and a super, super subtle power. This Sankt Nikolaus plays in a totally different league. Kühn told us that he wants to do a different wine out of the grape variety than the other producers. Like the Tements do in Austria with their Sauvignon Blancs he said. — 9 years ago

A lovely smooth, slightly sweet wine. Can really taste the cherries. — 6 years ago
Interesting wine, aromas of stone fruits and smoky notes. On the palate apple and citrus flavors, medium finish ending with almost a nutty character. Worth a try. Tasting Sample. — 7 years ago
Citrus and mineral nose. Interesting combo of white peach and ocean water. I liked it. — 8 years ago

Light straw in color with a golden tint.
Aromatic nose of lemons, red apples, light diesel, white flowers, grass, minerals and wet stones.
Medium-bodied, crisp, refreshing and engaging, with medium plus acidity and thin legs.
Off-dry on the palate with lemons, red apples, melons, pears, minerals, rocks and light herbs.
A nice long finish with tangy limes.
This German Riesling based blend, is refreshing and Well-balanced, with great acidity for the ample fruit. It shows no bitterness nor tartness at all , just wonderful.
Good as a sipping wine to have by the pool or the beach, but also goes great with Thai food, seafood or spicy food.

Excellent wine. Only slight floral notes, barely a gewurtz. Great with food and to sip alone. Perfect acidity and balance — 5 years ago
