A damn delight, somewhere between fascinating acidity plus fruit, and just gulp-ability. Smells of strawberries, wet stones and vanilla. On the palate the viniferous energy races, but the plush stewed strawberries slow it down. If you want to pound this, you do you, but also savor it, if you can help yourself. — 2 years ago

This is actually the Barrel Reserve. My first real exposure to higher end cab franc from the Finger Lakes region, and it is really impressive. In fact, we enjoyed every wine we tried at Weis. Highly recommend a visit there! — 3 years ago

Quite fragrant of stone fruit. The taste however started with quite a bit of seeetness than followed with an intense l min flavor mixed with peaches ... peachy lemons is the best way I can describe it. A little too sweet for my taste, but quite a surprising mix of flavors that I found it quite enjoyable.
