Baby Kupfergrube GG here. What a nose. Wow. Just sickness. 9.4 off the bat. Confectionary. Creamy. Peach. Rainer cherries. So clear and refined. Very expansive and airy. Peach fuzz. Barely ripe peach skin and pith. Just a terrific nose. Palate is so elegant and fine. Just as mineral as the Vom Schiefer but it caresses rather than bludgeons. Really classic, refined and again, that gut H intense, refined and complex minerality. Really mouthfilling and a lovely intense mineral roundness. Structured and intense. Very long and finishes super saline and salty. — 5 years ago

Great vintage but such a good wine, has a hefty mouthfeel yet balanced, strong dried tangerine & apricot notes but all kept in check. Liked better than previous bottles so wonder if benefiting from some time in bottle/decant- certainly has the stuffing. Terry Thiesse selection, who else?
