Óptimo vinho com um sabor excepcional — 5 years ago
Delicious Portuguese white with cracking acidity and juicy citrus undercurrents. Great find from #weygandtwines — 6 years ago
A young wine, with Gouveio, Viosinho and Malvasia. Citrine colour, an atractivo nose, intense, with notes of tropical fruit and a light floral sweetness. The palate is soft — 7 years ago
Sometimes you just want a good glass of white.
Citrus, stone fruit, stone. — 2 years ago
Viosinho is a rare but exciting white grape variety, known for producing high quality wine - dry, flavoursome and well worth a try. €10.99 Lidl absolute bargain. — 4 years ago
This is the white Douro. 2018 vintage. A blend from 70% viosinho, 20% codega do larinho and 10% couveio. Sister and brother oenologists team. 80% of the fruit is sourced in Baixo Corgo (Poiares, 700 m altitude) and 20% in the Douro Superior (Murças, 580 m altitude). Whole cluster pressing and fermentation in stainless steel. White peach and flowers in the nose. In the mouth the juicy white peach fruit is balanced by fresh acidity and a distinctive minty finish with very good length. Amazing value at less than 12 euro. Abv. 12,5%. — 5 years ago

16.5/20 (90/100) Довольно интенсивный, пряный аромат с нотами белых ягод, персиков, цветов. Умеренная кислотность и заметная спиртуозность. Вкус немного отстаёт от аромата. Яркое и непростое вино. — 7 years ago
Smooth white with crisp notes. Like a good chenin but smoother. — 7 years ago

Field blend of Rabigato, Códega do Larinho, Viosinho, Donzelinho and Gouveio from 80 years old vines on schist soils. Vineyard on the right bank of the Douro River, in the prime Cima Corgo zone, at an altitude of 400-600 metres. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 6 months in oak. Clean, precise nose with citrus (tangerine), floral notes and and subtle oak. Fresh, linear, medium bodied, dry. Good minerality and acidity. Very tasty — 4 years ago
Reminiscent of orange marmalade with almonds, hints of cinnamon and raisin; boozy. Cheaper bottle of port, but potential for a couple years of aging, I’d guess. — 5 years ago
Really likes it — 5 years ago
Maybe my 2nd Portuguese white wine ever. Nice! — 6 years ago
This was a perfect accompaniment to baked cod. It is mellow and doesn't overpower but still has plenty of personality. Enjoyed it with just a slight chill on it. I think serving temperature is key to appreciating this one. — 7 years ago
