Morei Vigneti delle Dolomiti Teroldego 2019

2019. Love Foradori wines and this may be my favorite so far. So young, but such complex aromas and flavors. Floral, earthy, dark cherry, minerals… paired perfectly with my duck and my wife’s elk entrees. — a month ago

I love Foradori wines as well.
They were Demeter certified in 2009 though they have been farming biodynamicely since 2002.

Sgarzon Vigneti delle Dolomiti Teroldego 2019

Oh this is a joy!
Inky dark in the glass yet so fresh!
Fresh plums, violets, a touch of dark cherry, some pomegranate brightness and a rocky core underneath. Cool, vibrant, fresh.
On the palate rather light bodied, quite Burgundian, cool & bright yet with quite some substance. Plums galore, rocky, edgy minerality, cool freshness and a crunchy, juicy tannic frame.
What a fantastic wine and such delicious stuff!!

Monleale Colli Tortonesi Barbera 2015

I like this! Barbera, but not too tart with some earthy rusticity. I would not have picked this as Barbera. Tasted Italian, but not your typical Barbera. — 21 days ago

Granato Teroldego 2019

Quite nice. Driven by small berries, freshness and minerality. Firm tannins juxtaposed to an herbal Hugh elevation profile. I would have been more excited if I hadn’t preferred the Morei to this topline bottling — a month ago

Vigneti di Foscarino Soave Classico Garganega 2020

Delectable Wine

The 2020 Foscarino displays a beguiling mix of crushed oyster shells, slate, dried pears and lemon oil. It’s round, verging on opulent, with an inner sweetness; saline minerals add a tactile feel. It finishes fresh yet potent. Peach and vanilla custard nuances are punctuated by sour citrus. $25.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2023) — 20 days ago
