This is the type of wine u can pair with Hispanic flavors like a tortilla soup or hearty meats pork and steak... maybe soon we can try with fish and vegan foods... this wine excites me for all the right reason ... it is such flavor compliment in a bottle it makes everything u eat with it yummy AF — 8 years ago
My husband and I really enjoyed this lovely Argentinean vintage. We tried it on our honeymoon at a local vegan restaurant. He became vegan six months ago for ethical reasons. Although he's very anti animal abuse, I find it odd that he occasionally hits me. It's not so violent that I feel like I should tell someone and I think it's his way of expressing his love. In his defense I usually deserve it. I love him a lot and this wine was the perfect compliment to our night out. — 8 years ago
Most interesting wine in this tasting. Deep copper in color. Caramel, dried orange slices, autumn leaves, vegan leather, floral, dried apricot, walnut skin. Medium plus acidity, medium plus sugar, medium alcohol. Really interesting orange wine. — 9 years ago
Had this with a pasta dish on a really cold night. Think 25 below. Went well with cream sauce without overpowering the food. Great pair. Even paired with Julie's vegan dish. — 9 years ago

Lots of vegan funk on the nose, and a streak that smells a bit like Pakistani lentil daal (sp.?). Oh yeah, and some sappy cherry fruit. This brings the earthy minerality in the mouth. Good weight and focus. A very blue collar cousin of Sancerre rouge. A standout with roast chicken. — 8 years ago

Certified Organic and unfiltered, which also makes it Vegan. Looks unfitered, with a rich hazy look in your glass. Strong (15.5) but smooth. — 9 years ago
Medium body, core leans toward opaque. Sits in the middle of purple and garnet, very clear rim. Pleasantly tannic, gentle touch of oak, and a short time in the glass takes the fruit down a notch and the pleasure up by many. This bottle will be fun to visit repeatedly over a good decade I would think. Just a challenge to make six of them last that long. Worked well with a vegan Caesar salad, olive oil braised veg, and aged parm, in that order, over a 45minute timespan. — 10 years ago

Subtlety whisked me away continuously as I pondered this bottle solo throughout my evening. Started with no food...seemed simple, light, some mineral back end and very balanced all around. As I ate a few chocolate truffles, berry yogurt appeared out of the glass and finessed my palette graciously as a cream refreshment. I slowly washed away some vegan pizza with the rest of it and things went nicely...continued to be light, balanced, and comparable to blending a CdR with a Bourgogne. All around evaluation has me wanting to taste le motelles, the single vineyard red from guiberteau. The bottle has been finished and I'm not sure that I am finished at just this one bottle. Next time. — 10 years ago

Plush, lush, brambly, savory, and full of deep dark fruits. Mineral-laced, on the fuller side of medium bodied, a wine that goes long on the finish. Kosher, vegan, and quite a find. — 7 years ago
This goes on! It is honeyed from some tasty auslese botrytis yet has the funk of...well not sure where the funk is from but it is there. Maybe some Swiss chard sorta funk. I've no clue if other people would say if that way but the sweet-bitter currents say so much to me. Also I detect marmalade and vegan jerky? So we'll pair with a dessert with some spice. Or salt. Or if you are me you start with a spicy dinner (salsa salsa salsa) and have another glass with dessert (salted chocolate chip cookies). My goodness. As usual with Garagiste wish I had another bottle so I could analyze more days. — 8 years ago
Great wine. Went really well with filet mug on. Also worked with vegan mushroom ravioli. A little heavy on vanilla when first opened, but mellowed throughout the meal. Cherries and raspberries. Earthy. Took small amount in bottle home. Day 2 more spiciness came out and was really good with blue cheese. — 8 years ago
So tasty! Sweet, with a hint of spice and a really lovely berry flavour at the end. Organic and vegan to boot! What more could I want in a red?! So glad I decided to take a chance and try something new! — 9 years ago
Full body, lingering fresh grape, pow, lots going on! Not boring ! — 9 years ago

I've done a Spanish Cava and Jazz night before but Jazz and Shiraz was new for me. And it was absolutely perfect on a chilly Perth evening at @tartscafe with a beaut bottle like this.
Deep seductively sexy shade of red in the glass (good one @towardmusic). Rich aromas of warm sweet berries and is just plain intoxicating on the nose. It caresses the palate with alluring tannins and flavours of mulberries, chocolate and a nice black pepper & berry zing which carries on well into the night. $42 a bottle at Tarts and it's also organic & vegan. All opinions are based on my own taste buds. #wine #tcweekdaywine #shiraz #perth #jazz #battleofbosworth — 10 years ago
