This was rich and delicious especially with a tasty steak kabob. — 6 months ago
Decided to try this tonight with a filet. Has been awhile since I last tasted this wine. Aging beautifully. Great body. Depth of fruit. Just a beautiful California cab from a great vintage. — 6 months ago
Treated by a great friend who opened this incredible bottle. A celebration of refined, jammy, bold goodness. — 2 years ago
Dark, viscous motor oil and blackberry. Tasty, but needs another 8yr or so. — 8 months ago
Very nice. Pencil graphite blackberry but a bit thin. — 10 months ago
In a great spot after an hour of air. A fantastic complement to lamb chops. Bravo, @Mike Smith! — 3 years ago

This wine is drinking really well. Nice and juicy but still has nice tannin structure on the finish! — 3 months ago
What do you think? Supercharged Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. — 6 months ago

Englishman Jonathan Maltus (of La Dome) Napa project. Nose shows blackcurrant, plum, cassis, pencil shavings, and clove with a herbaceous undertone. Juicy with medium to full body. Velvety tannins. Stylish, but lacking a bit of depth and complexity. — 10 months ago
Really a very nice Napa Cabernet from a great vineyard site in a good drinking place age wise. On cork pop the oak was too overbearing - that sort of oaky sweetness that I don’t care for. But decanted for a couple hours as a result and quite nice after that. Deep violet in the glass. Deep dark fruit notes. Unmistakably Napa, for sure. Some glycerin feel. But a long finish with just enough acid to keep it together. I don’t often drink Napa cab, but on a fall day with burgers it’s hard to complain. — 5 years ago

Had this in 2015, why I opened so soon 🤷🏼♂️? Rookie mistake. The extra 10 years has made a huge difference. It has the stuffing for another decade at least.
Still not much of a nose to it but pairs well with a good Steak 🥩 — 3 months ago
