Looks like trouble...the good kind? — 8 years ago
I have trouble rating whites as high as reds, but this is a unique Chardonnay. Mint and citrus on the nose. It's taste is angular. Smokey on the palate. Not oaky. Not sweet. — 9 years ago
Shooter Syrah. Real similar to the Bien Nacido. Jaffurs style unmistakable. — 10 years ago
45 year old Muscat vines. Skin contact. Unfiltered. Fresh, bright, high acid. Tropical and floral notes, jasmine, star fruit, lychee and a little lemon juice. Killer pairing with salmon sashimi. — 10 years ago
Wow this is nice like drinking a soda. This could be trouble. Not sweet, just right, big flavor profile — 11 years ago

The reason I fell in love with wine, popped my cherry or grape I should say. I was 19 and took this from my fathers stash, definitely got in trouble but it was worth it! — 9 years ago
Really nice Chambolle here. If I'm having trouble putting my finger on the right words to describe it it's because it was in a really harmonious package here with no one element sticking out. This is an old-vine site for Digioia-Royer and it initially exhibited that material more through a thick-skinned tannic signature than through fruit seve, mostly because the fruit is so gentle. It has some dark undertones, a little blueberry or plum in a mostly red-fruited personality, along with a crushed stony element. — 10 years ago
Can't find my Ah-so (cue Bender) so I didn't stand a chance against this cork. The worm ended up drilling a hole straight through the middle, so had to strain through a coffee filter. Worth the trouble as this was a nice surprise. Tapenade nose, tar and still a hint of bacon. Nice showing for the basic County blend at 17+ years. Chose the location due a mountain lion sighting in the 'hood today. — 10 years ago
I have trouble finding enjoyable pinot noir, I likes this. — 11 years ago

Cherry, raspberry, loamy earth, cranberry, vanilla, rhubarb and oak. Good structure and soft tannins — 8 years ago
Prune nose. Nice dark color. A micro producer. They have trouble now to get grapes as money flows into Burgundy they loose out. Beautiful wine 🍷 could use another 3 years or so. Cherry 🍒 cranberry touch of lemon 🍋 zest and chalk / really well done / this is ‘handmade’. Blows Bize and Pavelot the apparent benchmarks for Savigny out of the water. Amitié wines online has these or Meritage in Encinitas and a bunch of Michelin Star restaurants in SF. You can’t go wrong if you like his traditional style. — 8 years ago

WOTN in heavy fire. Beat out the XXL and five shooter. Definitely a 3-1 under dog in this fight but it gets the belt. 5 hr slow oxed then down the hatch. So polished, deep and dark.... Manfred is a mad scientist with this stuff. This is the wine that changes your perception of what great really can be. — 11 years ago
2014 was fine for the Valle Isarco. Not as much rain, humidity or trouble from the invasive fly. Great acidity. Super fresh and clean. No botrytis. — 11 years ago
