Vin Santo del Chianti Classico Trebbiano-Malvasia Blend 2009

The 7th wine from the Downs Club Italian Dinner and from 375ml bottle. Would swear this was fortified but only 13% alcohol. 55% Malvasia, 45% Trebbiano. Colour of tawny burnt orange. More nutty notes over the dried fruits and dry citrus peel. Sweet - to be expected with diminishing acid. An excellent dessert style or to go with cheeses. — 2 months ago

Ok please don’t like this yet. This needs to be fixed. Funky town for sure. I would say Parmesan cheese. Soon more….Really crazy stuff! Well Kombucha, like quite acidic and astringent, buttery, nose, Muskat - orange blossoms. So much fun but obviously you have to be crazy to ask for this and drink it - even the staff at the restaurant hesitated. — 3 months ago
