Probably the best sparkling I've had. Not a fan of sparkling, but this was damn good. — 8 years ago
I completely forgot to post this. My brother from another mother Kirk Alexander uncorked these 2 Absolutely Phenomenal 100 point beauties for us to enjoy just because I came over!!!!!! ! Damn., I’ve got to go to his house more often!!!!!! All kidding aside., we were celebrating Veronica’s (his beautiful wife) birthday and what a truly special Evening.it was. There’s nothing better than uncorking a special bottle with friends that have become like family.
We love you Veronica!!! And put up with Kirk just because of you🤣😜🤣

Delightful. One of my favorites from Rockwall. It's just delicious — 9 years ago
The 2012 is still holding so damn tight. Definitely more approachable than a year ago but please full decant for 1.5 hours otherwise you are just wasting the best Chardonnay made in America. Everytime I open a bottle it reminds me of the excitement of losing my virginity...the anticipation is killer, but the actual event is magic! — 10 years ago
Straw gold, heavy in the glass. Spicey nose. Notes of apricot, citrus, petrol, tan spice and white stones. Powerful in the mouth. Massive acidity matched against a wall of ripe fruit. This was like an untamed lion in a cage that wanted to get out and roam around. Unfortunately it was consumed before we got the full impact of the necessary air time. — 5 years ago
Thought it would be a little too sweet for me, but I really liked it — 6 years ago
A very nice blend 92% Syrah 8% Viognier. — 8 years ago
Inky purple with gritty tannins, spirited fresh silky fruit. A substantial brooding wine with miles and miles left in the tank but so damn good right now. The ‘08s and ‘09s from the North CA Coast that I felt were impenetrable fruit bombs the last few years are really blooming now. Drink up but decant. — 9 years ago

Always consistent. Figs. Eucalyptus. Mint. Just damn good. — 9 years ago
Good blend-heavier weight with the petite sir an being the predominant note. Lots of deep blue fruit and a medium finish. — 9 years ago

Finally got a chance to enjoy this stunning wine - grilled some steaks to perfection and celebrated life with THE one and ONLY Opus One.
