Outstanding Malbec. Can’t wait to enjoy more. Paired well with skirt steak tacos. — 7 months ago
Really smooth! Bought at grant park market. — 15 days ago
Light golden color. Nice hint of petrol right out of the bottle. Additional aromas and flavors of peach, nectarine, green apple, pineapple, honey and an intense lime note. A pleasant sour note on the finish. Bold, fruit forward and round with excellent mouthfeel. Crisp, but just a bit short on acidity. — 3 months ago
2021 blend is Aglianico/Sangiovese. Was in a really pretty spot when I opened it. Best Texas red I’ve had from Southold in a few years. — a month ago
In 1877, Illario and Leopoldo Ruffino laid the foundations of their dream to make Italian wines from the heart of Tuscany. Medium Ruby red color with aromas of dark berry fruit and earthy spice, blend of 80% Sangiovese with rest Merlot and Cab Sauv. On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with tobacco, pepper and earthy cedar notes. Full-bodied, well balanced soft drying tannins on a smooth medium+ finish. Grab some Italian food and enjoy the great value wine. Consistent quality, a Fav!! — 3 months ago
Holy shot this wine is good. Full body dark fruit on the nose and palate. Intense long lasting delicious. Love it. Want more. Thanks Wendy! — 8 months ago

Haven’t had this since 2020, so 3.5 years later... Last review included “cherries, cherries, cherries,” and had it at 9.1. This has evolved very well! Chocolate, cherries, and a very nice funk that gives this wine a touch of old world. Big fan! 93-94 — 22 days ago
