Nose: green apple flower. Aerated minerals. White flowers. Gorgeous nose. More confectionery as it opens.
Palate: such fine minerals. Perfect echoes of green apple. Razor sharp. Almost like still champagne from Riesling. As this opens. Richer. Really delicious. Super juicy. Internal aromatics approaching elite status.
Density is coming out. Almost chewy. .
Finish is intense. Mineral. Dense apple. Acids. Rich. Sweet minerals. — 18 days ago
How freakin wonderful this is right now…unbelievable. Lemon zest, salty minerals, lemon curd, pineapple and slate. Incredibly long, impressive and elegant. Wow. — 3 months ago
Very nice Gruner that works with a huge range of foods. A bit lush for a federspiel (12%) and somewhat lacking white pepper and watercress you would expect but a delicious wine nonetheless. — 2 years ago
This happens to be excellent. Especially with white Asparagus in season right now in Germany. Spicy, hint white pepper, super aromatics Mexican lime. Very fresh and crisp. — 2 months ago
