Salty, high minerality, citrus, high acidity. Great w/ fried chicken. Cuts thru fat. — 14 years ago
Light to medium gold with greenish tint. Leesy nose. Wet stone, McIntosh apple, honey - white flower, camomile. Fresh baguette. Med+ acid, medium body (that’s deceptively rich). Baked pear on the palate, but bright, clean, and incisively focused. Acid is all in tune - and the result is elegant. — 8 years ago

Medium body, firm acidity. Green Apple, mineral, with a touch of earthiness. Delicious. Tim Kweeder showing the way! At Kensington Quarters, 2013 — 10 years ago
First Sylvaner I've had, once again the fascist myth of noble varieties vs ignoble varieties (called "blenders") is shown to be bullshit, this wine is complex, dynamic, and singular, sort of like clover honey drizzled over kiwi fruit and green apples. — 11 years ago

Light, flowery with waxy apples and a touch of spicy peach towards the finish. A nice slyvaner with character. — 8 years ago
